Fished the EPSFA - Walleye Challenge Tournament with Joe K, his son Joey and Frank M. Fished east of PIB with near perfect lake conditions. We managed 11 to the boat, 1 throw back and 2 lost at the back of the boat, in the 7.5 hrs of the tourney. Biggest fish for the day was 7.5 lbs with the rest averaging around 5 lbs. Set up being: clean and weighted Reef Runner 600's, 5 color LCs with Bangos and Renoskys and big dipseys (3 setting 115 - 140 back) with worm harnesses. Trolling speed of 2.2 - 2.7 with best colors being: RR - bare naked; Bango Blue/Chart, Renosky - Purple/Pink and copper harnesses.

Fished the evening east of PIB with 2 - 3' windy lake conditions. Finished the evening with 5 walleye all around 7 lbs. Set up being Reef Runner 600's (clean and with 1 oz weights) 200 - 250 back and 5 color LCs with shallow Renoskys off of the boards. Trolling speed was 2.4 - 2.6 with best colors being: RR - Bare Naked, Chart Wonderbread Bare naked, Renoskys - Chameleon, Pink/Purple
Fished a short afternoon smallmouth bass fishing trip with Mark B and his family from North Carolina. We ran east of PIB, with the set up being Reef Runner 600’s off of the boards. Lake conditions were 2 – 3’s with a NE wind. We had steady action boating approx. 20 bass, several rock bass and the occasional junk fish. Smallmouth bass ranged in the 1 – 2# range with the biggest being 3.5 lbs. Best Colors: Glowby, Firetiger, perch and Cran Crusher (bare naked)
